Instead of the station name, Itoshima High School (Itoshima High School), which is the core of the station, is out of alignment. I think there was a better station name.

JR Kyushu Chikuhi Line Itoshima High School Mae Station. New on March 16, 2019. Regular trains stop, but fast trains only stop on weekdays. During the day, I run about 4 cars an hour. The station has a two-sided, two-line platform, one stairs and one elevator. The ticket gate is dedicated to 1 of 3 aircraft ICs. There are toilets and multipurpose toilets. There is also a station employee next to the ticket gate. The north and south exits can be accessed via the station building as a free passage, and stairs and elevators are installed at both exits. Both have vending machines (cash only) in front of the stairs. There are HOTEL AZ, supermarket and drugstore in the vicinity. There are coin parking and bicycle parking in front of the station. Buses run from the north and south exits to the Itoshima City Community Bus “Urban Loop Line” counterclockwise and clockwise (the first stop of Chikuzen Maebara Station). It takes about 40 minutes to Hakata Station and about 45 minutes to Fukuoka Airport.

It is the newest station on the Chikuhi Line, which opened in March 2019. There are supermarkets, business hotels, drug stores and convenience stores in the vicinity. Compared to other stations, I think the platform is a little narrow. Please note that the rapid train does not stop on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. There is also a bus stop, but basically only community buses stop. From the south side of Itoshima High School Mae Station, there is a highway bus bound for Osaka and Kyoto.
