Clean hôtel with polite and helpfull staff. It's actually closer to jr otsuka station than ikebukuro. The room is bit bigger than other similar price hotel. Some plan do not include cleaning. Bed is bit hard. Still Worth it, I liked it

PSA: if you have a bad neck and/or back, perhaps reconsider staying here. The bed, like many in Japan, is hard as a rock. Perhaps not an issue for back sleepers, but for those incapable, certainly. Lots of painkillers required! The hotel itself is nice enough. A really good area, a short walk from the local Sakura Tram as well as Sunshine City. The room is a decent size with everything you'd expect. The reason for lack of stars is due to bed hardness plus the inconvenience of having to separate and take out our own trash, as well as getting our own towels/amenities/sheets. Bit of a hassle. But a nice place nonetheless.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was very nice as it was placed near 2 stations. You can also walk to nice restaurants, malls and arcades. The room was too dirty. The floor and walls was stained with dirt, even the bed sheets was nasty. The bathroom was also too dirty, which made me feel uncomfortable. You are also getting charged for changing the bedsheets and towels etc. Which we weren't informed about until we arrived to the hotel. There is also no housekeeping, so you have to throw out the trash yourself. I have never experienced it before, that's why I was kinda shocked about this stay. The only positive was that the room was a lot bigger, than our previous stay at another hotel. Maybe we were unlucky, but I wouldn't come back or recommend this place.

The best out of the best if you want to save money and get great location in Tokyo, it’s 5 minute walk to otsuka station, 5 minute to sunshine city, 15 min to ikebukuro. You will never get bored in here Ikebukuro itself already have so much to do. Service is great they are 24 hours, and they do not clean your room ( that’s why it’s cheaper) everything you need for is at second floor for self service. They have microwave in the room, the bathroom is amazing, room size is big compared to other hotels, everything is clean and we get queen sized bed. They also have 3 convenient store and 24 hour restaurant downstairs. The only downside is you need to take your trash out outside the hotel in a dumper. We enjoyed the hotel a ton!

Stayed at a normal single room, which is great but with smell of smoke... I ordered a non-smoking room on the net but they didn’t give me the room I ordered
