Arrived after midnight, man at front counter told me no parking. Got room placed all my stuff in the room drove around until 0100 looking for parking. Walked back to hotel counted 15 empty parking spots. Went to bed tired and upset. Sunrise woke me up because I was to tired to shut curtains at 0130. So I went for a walk to pay for the parking 0100-0620 was 800 yen. Pulled into hotel parking lot and found 20 open spots! Parked my car packed my bags and left. For 21000¥ I would expect employees that can count parking spaces. Room was two beds pushed together, no breakfast, zero customer service and the worst place we stayed on our road trip through central Japan.

I really wish I could write a more positive review, but there was a certain 'flaw' that made my stay here somewhat unpleasant. I noticed during my first night, that the ventilation in the bathroom could not switch off. The head of the bed is situated against the bathroom wall, which meant I had a rather hard time falling asleep due to the noise. Now, on to the positive: The location is great, relatively close to the Nagano Station, and you have a bus stop nearby as well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The size of the room was about the same as most hotels in the same price category, which was more than enough for me. The breakfast buffet was varied enough for me, and the view from the restaurant was amazing.

Terrible staff compare to other hotels and accommodations in Japan. We tried to contact the structure several times to have some information regarding the train disruption caused by the typhoon, they never replied to our messages and emails and they didn't even bother to apologies with us. That's really shameful. Never again in this awful hotel.

Best hotel we have stayed in so far, with room to swing a cat, all facilities catered for..Close to shops, railway station and restaurants

Supermarket nearby with good supplies.Comfortable place to stay too but it is a bit far from the station. It is like a 10-15 minutes walk from there.
