Exceptional fully contained apartment with every single possible amenity available and an amazing host! We accidentally booked on the wrong dates and arrived two days early but the host was understanding and welcoming, we even played board games with her which was great fun. The apartment comfortably sleeps 4-6 people with a double bed, two single bunks and two Japanese style futons in a cool little loft. The entire building was warm and cozy even in winter. There is a full scale kitchen with all the utensils you need, a great shower/bathroom, TV and lots of lounges. 100% would stay again and recommend to anyone. 5 stars.

Excellent guesthouse in the middle of Japan. A lot of things to do in this nice countryside : Nakasendo, neighbor village of Iwamura (20 min walk) and its castle ruins, hiking in the Mt Mitsumori with its temple, small river for the kids just next by ... Not too far from Magome Tsumago (about 1h), easy access with a local smal train on the Akechi Line. But I think it is better to make the hike from Ena to Tsumago (about 7 hours) and then come back by public transport.

Owner's personality, too, comfortable and warm hotel. It is a guest house where one building is completely built, and it can use a kitchen, living room, toilet and shower in a common space besides a room with comfortable beds. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, floor heating, and various kitchens are also convenient. Thank you very much for taking polite and kind reservations for sudden night reservations.
