Flexstay Inn Tokiwadai

I stayed for 10 days and it was decent place. Overall, it was a good stay however I will probably not do it again as the cost of taking the train adds up (as well as travel time) that it would be better to get a better hotel in Ikebukuro area. PROS: Small but clean rooms and bathroom; 10 mins from train station. CONS: No daily towels; the lock main door of the building was not working and always open every night I was there; no view outside windows as it is facing another room/hallway; weird cabinet by the kitchen that you have to bend over to use; location is not bad but is not the best if you travel to Tokyo everyday.

Enjoyed my stay. A bit on the outskirts of Tokyo but its a nice neighbourhood. Wish they gave drinking water.

The inn is small yet so organized and has a really good use of space that wont make u feel you're living in a small apartment at all! And also its 2 min away from tokiwadai station, other stores and restaurants are 3-4 minutes walking distance. Highly recommended!

Great value for money in a nice quiet area with good train links

I booked a room for 3 nights for my son 11 year old son and me, the room was dirty and smelled tobacco. I sent a first email at 1:00 am to report it and ask to leave the hotel (atmosphere horror film like motel on deserted road) with refund of the following nights, I had no response. The next day, I went to the front office (no open all the time), they refused to refund and to change room. After insisting, they gave me the manager over the phone who confirmed their position. Photos of yellow walls and screenshot of my request by mail in my possession. Also if you want to visit Tokyo, there is 1 hour of transport and you have to pay 2 times the metro because you have to take 2 different companies. J'ai booké une chambre pour 3 nuits pour mon fils 11 ans et moi, la chambre était salle et sentait le tabac. j'ai envoyé un premier mail vers 1:00 am pour le signaler et demander de quitter l’hôtel (ambiance film d'horreur, motel sur route déserte) avec remboursement des nuits restantes, je n'ai eu aucune réponse. Le lendemain, je me suis présenté à la réception (ouverte à certaines heures) , ils ont refusé que j'écourte le séjour et de changer de chambre. Après avoir insister, ils m'ont passé le manager au téléphone qui à confirmé leur position en disant que pour le remboursement il ne pouvait rien faire à cause de Agoda et que préparer une autre chambre n'était pas possible. Photos des mures jaunes et capture d'écran de ma demande par mail en ma possession. De plus si vous souhaitez visiter Tokyo, il y a 1 heure de transport et faut payer 2 fois le métro puisqu'il faut prendre 2 compagnies différentes.
