Nice Hostel Yotsugi

They need to recheck their cleaning standards. One good thing is the Very convenient location. Close to Yotsugi train station and had a supermarket close to it(10min walk), a handful of restaurants nearby too. Located in a residential area so was pretty quiet. The kitchen was spacious even if it only had 2 seats which meant only two people can sit and eat. A microwave and electric hot water pot is available in the kitchen. It is unfortunate that they refused access to the induction stove. There were bags of plastic bottles, glass bottles, plastic packaging on the kitchen floor, seems they segrate rubbish(hooray!) but they, on purpose, forget to keep it away from the kitchen or the guests view. Our bedroom was the only one on the ground floor, it has two beds. I found some long blonde hair strands on the matress and I'm pretty sure it's not mine or my husband's since I'm not blonde and neither does my husband have long hair:) The toilet was OK, could be cleaner. The shower room needed a lot of cleaning!!There was hair on the sink drain which my husband had to clean(awful) and it just looked like it has not been scrubbed for weeks. There was hair on the shower floor and dirt too was very visible on the tiles. Overall I give it a 20 out of 100. I will not stay here again even for the low cost of it and do not recommend it to anyone.

Not good...

A house of 30 to 40 in a residential area, about a 2-minute walk from the station. It is an atmosphere where you can relax as if you came home. Stayed in the room on the first floor. Other than us, a set of customers stayed on the second floor. Because they were quiet people, there was no sound on the day of the stay, but if a guest who was indifferent to the sound stayed on the 2nd floor, I would feel noisy. The rooms are equipped with a TV, a hot and cold refrigerator, a hot water bottle, a glass, a hairdryer and a table mirror. I think there is probably no service because there was no free Wi-Fi guidance. In the room we stayed, there were two beds on the tatami mat. I didn't have a chair in the room, so I felt like spending time on the bed. Since the dressing room is locked, you cannot enter the room while someone is using it. At that time, use the kitchen washroom. The kitchen has a kettle, microwave, and simple cookware and dishes. Since there are only two chairs in the kitchen, you have to shift the time if one pair is using it. There is no washing machine, but if you walk about 1 minute in the opposite direction to the station, there is a coin laundry that is open until 23:00 on weekdays. Since there is no money changer, you should have the required number of 100 yen coins when you go. Below are my personal thoughts. The bed mattress was too soft, so my body was sinking and it was hard to sleep (I use Airweave everyday). The room we stayed was small and we were two people and one small suitcase, so it was okay to put it at my feet, but if there were two large suitcases, there was no space to walk. It was a little inconvenient because there was no space to dry on the first floor even when washing in the coin laundry. There are bath towels in amenities but no face towels. It is a pity that there is no towel that can be used in the morning unless it is dried after using the bath towel. If you make a reservation with advance payment, you can check in at any time after the check-in time, but if you pay on the day, there is a limited time for check-in. If you can't check in within that time, you can check in after hours if you pay another fee. I thought this was very inconvenient. After booking, we exchanged e-mails about unclear points, etc., but there was a reply within the day and sincerely responded to questions from here, the response was very good. I didn't meet the staff from reservation to checkout, so I don't know the staff's face-to-face impressions. You can't catch a taxi around Yotsugi Station, so if you want to use a taxi, call it in the app, or make a reservation call to the taxi company. Because I thought I could catch a taxi in front of the station, I lost a lot of time until the destination arrived. This is a negative point for the location. I used this to attend the night and farewell ceremony at Yotsugi Seira. Because it was very close to Ohanajaya Station, I thought that I found a very good accommodation, so I highly evaluated it.

The truth is that we were very comfortable here. Quiet neighborhood and affordable price.
