Hotaka Local Museum

There are not many exhibits, but the person in charge is kind and can study a lot. In the archeological corner, Jomon pottery is organized for hundreds to hundreds of years. You can also see the rare earthenware called "jar with wide ears" from all sides. As of April 2017, we cannot enter the cultural property "Kane no Oka" building on the back.

It is a small museum. On the first floor there are many valuable items to know about Japan about 100 years ago and the second floor is the thing of the Kofun period such as earthenware etc and the investigation is still continuing.

It was easy to understand using dolls. The uncle at the reception desk was kind and easy to talk to and taught me the shooting spot.

On the 2nd floor of the rustic museum, the Jomon pottery excavated from the Makinomiya and Horoku mansion remains, especially the wide-eared pot-shaped pottery, is a work of art❣
