Utsunomiya Castle Ruins Park

In Japan there are many castles bigger and more impressive than this but it's a nice place to visit and relax, plus there are regular festivals etc held here throughout the year along with exhibitions in the museum.

It's small but still you can get a lot of information. A nice person will explain about the history, either in the museum or the castle display. You can enter the towers as well.

Fine place to visit if it's not raining.

It isn't a full castle, only the remains, but for a city that doesn't have too many big landmarks, this is a great place to come. It's also a nice park for a family outing, and there are many different events and festivals that go on here or near here.

Nice place to see a little bit of history.
