Ken at the hotel converse English very well. He gave us a very welcoming tour around the hotel before giving us very useful advices travelling in the area. Hotel itself is clean, tidy well furnished, no doubt on my return. 5 star

Beautiful villa converted as a hotel. Room is big in Japan standard. We were able to open two large check-in luggage and still has space to walk. We book ground floor room with Kaiseki dinner and breakfast for two persons. We paid high rate as tonight is World Rugby Cup 2019 NZ vs Canada and a lot of nearby hotels were sold out. Still, the place is comfortable and beautiful and for the service, definitely worth paying.
We visited this nice and cosy hotel in March, we especially love the open air onsen both public and private. Service is top notch especially Mr. Aoki for his attentive service and warmness. The private onsen (Room 1) was big and nice facing the forest that gave us a healing and enjoyable session. Comfy and large twin bed , western breakfast was authentic and yummy. The whole hotel environment was great and we really have a relaxing time there. Would love to stay in this hotel again. Parking is free.
Excellent place to stay one night in Yufuin, the hotel manager and staff is very professional and make us feel like home. The hot spring here is also magnificent with great forest view. Will consider to go back here very soon.
