Shiorisha

We stayed at the Shioriya guesthouse for 7 days. The guesthouse is located in Shinonoi, a 10 minute train ride from Nagano and a short drive from the Shinonoi station. We liked the location of the guesthouse for its quiet, homely neighborhood and for the convenience of restaurants and department stores located very close by. We stayed in the Japanese-Western combination room which had very comfortable mattresses on a raised platform. The room (with an attached bathroom) was exceptionally clean, well-designed, airy and spacious. The room has a small refrigerator, a kettle, cosmetics and spare pillows. We had beautiful views of the Alps in the distance. Even though the room faced the street, we heard almost no street-noise. There is an aesthetically designed and comfortable common dining and lounge space downstairs. Coming back in the evening to a roaring fire in the fireplace was an added bonus! The guesthouse also has a washer-dryer unit and a small, well-stocked kitchen that the guests can use. We have visited Japan several times in the past and stayed in ryokans, but this stay was by far the best, made most memorable and enjoyable thanks to the wonderful hosts. They were incredibly generous with their time, sharing their knowledge about the area and nearby towns. Depending on our interests, they had great suggestions on sites to visit, restaurants, walking paths and shops. The hosts are warm, hospitable and very thoughtful. We enjoyed the healthy and tasty breakfast that they served every morning. Even though we were unfamiliar with each other's language, communication was never difficult: through a combination of Google Translate and their device that translates from Japanese to English, we were able to communicate with each other very well. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Shioriya!

I stayed in a Japanese-style room with my two-year-old daughter and three parents. It was a very nice building with the scent of wood. The owner and his wife are also very nice people, and I have become a fan. It was difficult for me to stay with my children, but Shiorisha was a nice place to stay with my children. Also, I would like to take care of you when I return to Nagano. Thank you very much.

We used it for the purpose of having a meal at a popular YouTuber restaurant nearby. As we asked about the purpose of the meal, it matched the concept of the inn. The owner's response was excellent and the building was soothed that you could feel the scent of wood. It was a wonderful inn that I wanted to come to stay again.

I used it last year for a family trip. The warm welcome and service of the owners and their couples, how to arrange the rooms, and every corner of the room. I want to stay here every time I go to Nagano!

I stayed for Perfume LIVE. Each room was a very nice room stuck to the material of wood. There was also a microwave and oven in the common kitchen, so I could make a breakfast with the ingredients I bought at the nearby A · COOP. Both my husband and wife had a very kind service and a homely response, and I was very happy to arrive on the way back. Also, I would like to stay. (Thanks to my wife and my husband, we were able to go live on Perfume with two people happily)
