The place is nice and clean. The bedrooms are big and with traditional tatami floors and futon to sleep. We had dinner and it was very good japanese food. It is a nice place to stay a couple of nights to explore the beautiful area around it. The owner was really friendly and helpful and speaks english which is a plus.
Our only issue was that the walls were very thin and we could hear the bathroom door everytime someone went but we slept good anyway.
Also worth pointing out is that they can prepare vegetarian menus.
I love this place. Sleeping on tatami mats must be a good experience.
Thank you for your help on the day of the heavy snow warning. The owner's family is kind and warm. It's also physically warm. Lol There is a feeling of cleanliness, and the cost performance is good. 💯
3000 yen per person for 2 meals per night is cheap ❗
It's not a new building, so it's not neat, but it is well maintained and cleaned. The food is not gorgeous but simple and delicious. The wild vegetables are delicious and I am satisfied. Since it is a guesthouse, there is no excessive service. Please bring your own toothpaste set, sleepwear and towels. The guest rooms are non-smoking, and there is a smoking room on the first floor and an ashtray in front of the entrance. I will go again.
