Reservations made 2 months before the start of the pandemic of covid 19. (start in China) We went through Booking for reservations (Booking, by the way, does not help us at all and is absolutely useless). Of the 7 hotels, all have accepted the cancellation and reimbursement of the nights booked because it is Japan that does not allow tourists on its soil. The airline also agreed to reimburse us. On our side, if the authorities let us return, we would have gone there. All except Yahiro Nice Hostel which debits you the account, answers you twice in 3 months and tells you that either you book another date quickly or it is lost. Small clarification if we opt for a date already reserved with them then it is also lost. Strange customer service. Also, who is in a position to say on what date tourists will be allowed to return to Japan? And under what conditions? (Confinement on arrival?) In short, the covid will not only have made losers in the Japanese hotel system This hotel has cashed in our 212 € and does not even deign to respond to an email. We will go to Japan as soon as we can, we will book again in all the hotels that have played the game but under no circumstances will we go to the Nice Yahiro Hostel. If it's not theft it looks a lot like it !!
