I loved my stay, wish it could have been longer! Here is why: The rooms are pristine and tranquil. The breakfasts are delicious, healthy and filling. The hotel is in a quaint, quiet, authentic pottery town in Kyoto near many shrines, temples, and restaurants. The couple that runs the hotel are extremely accommodating, helpful and passionate. Vegans, English speakers, and others look no further for a place to stay in Kyoto. This is it. Much love!

Great if you’re a vegan, a vegetarian, or just a person who wants to have a lovely time in Kyoto. Reasons to stay here: - Awesome facilities: clean, modern, and really comfortable - Located in a quiet and nice neighborhood, close to train stations and walking trails - AMAZING daily breakfast. Just super delicious and filling. - The owners, Helen and Craig, have clutch recommendations for what to do while you’re in town that only locals would know

Craig and Helen have created something truly special. They have a great accommodation along with excellent tips/recommendations for what to do in the surrounding area of Kyoto. On top of all this, the food was fantastic and a perfect way to start the day with a full stomach before venturing out. Would recommend staying here for the warm hospitality, location, and food.

We loved our stay at Vegan Minshuku Sanbiki Neko! The owners Helen and Craig are the nicest and most accommodating hosts you could ever hope to meet, and were happy to offer advice and tips for sightseeing in the area. The B&B opened just last year and everything still feels very new - the bedrooms are traditional Japanese style, very spacious and comfortable with lots of cupboard space to store your luggage. And the breakfasts - oh my goodness the breakfasts! Completely vegan, made fresh by Craig every morning and totally delicious. There was something new to try every day and it got our mornings off to a great start. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks again for having us :)

Friendly and helpful couple. All their breakfast were different each day and carefully planned n prepared. Really enjoyed, clean and comfortable!
