Sensō-ji

Its an all time favorite place to visit in Tokyo. I have visited here at various times in the day, night and every time its a amazing. Quite centrally located and many places to visit around. Shopping streets here are very lively. Sumeda river is just a few hundred meters away and offers amazing view. If you are keen, a whole day can be spent here in the radius of 2km around temple.

Beautiful time to visit, not crowded at all and could walk through the Main Street with ease. A must see place in Tokyo, really good contrast of the current modern city and traditional Japan. Lots of local food stalls with great cuisine available as well 👌

All the shops are closed and the way to the place is completely deserted. However, we see some people having their evening walk. This is the first time I have seen this place without crowd and gives a different feel to it. A must visit place for anyone to have feel of Buddhist temple architecture in central Tokyo.
