I’d pay higher and find somewhere nicer if possible. Great view of the river but the hotel/rooms are aging and staff were not helpful. Though it’s cheap and you get what you pay for. Nice rotenburo looks out into the river.

We had booked one night at this hotel, and was really satisfied with our stay. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room, it was big and comfortable and had a wonderful view, where you could see the beautiful gorge. The hot springs are simple, but very nice. They provide you with two hot pools and one cold outside.

Good service, great view of the Kinugawa river from the balcony. Amazing onsen on the base floor.

OK facilities and nice view, but very poor service (not even supply a spare towel) and smoking rooms only.

Also book a his if you have heavy luggage. There is a high and long brodge you must pass of you are going to walk.
