The very first temple I stumbled upon during my first day in Japan 4 years ago! A small shrine but very powerful! The shrine maids (巫女さん) and attendants of the shrine were very nice and welcoming.

The Namiyoke Inari Jinja is very close to the fish market. So, if you're in the area, it's work taking a look. It's quite small and cute.

A small but interesting shrine located in Tsukiji area. Namiyoke shrine and its ferocious lion-dogs weighing 700kg for the female one and a ton for the male one. They’ve been paraded each year since Edo period.
