Nikko Station Hotel Classic

Stayed here 08.21.20 Great value for money (breakfast included). The Western style rooms are spacious with large TV, a refrigerator that is actually cold, and an A/C that works great. The furoba is clean and airy with 3 pools: one hot, one warm, and an outdoor rotemburo which must be great in the winter. The spacious restaurant offers satisfying, unfussy dinner; the breakfast buffet was actually a buffet (rare in the Covid era) with a large selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. The salad bar offers 8 kinds of dressings! There is also a Japanese restaurant. In an attempt to control costs in a Covid era you need to pick up whatever toiletries and amenities you need in the lobby. The drip coffee is good, and the T-Fal hot pot in the room heats up the water really fast. The hotel is directly across from the JR Nikko station and a short walk from Tobu Nikko. There's a bakery just up the street if you need snacks. Electric bikes are also available if you have an iPhone. One hopes business recovers post Covid, but I would enjoy the tranquility while it lasts. What tourists there were in Nikko were all Japanese.

A great hotel, in a great position on the way to Nikko National Park. Well appointed room, and an excellent dining room with superb food. Dinner was buffet style, and, on entering the dining room room their was a long queue, but it flowed very well and there was no shortage of food. I loved it.

Convenient hotel right next to the train station and a beautiful walk from the park and shrines. The rooms were dated and there was a heavy smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. But the staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the onsen had both an indoor and outdoor bath.

Clean, nostalgic, quiet, and comfortable. On site onsen(hot spring), bar, and restaurant. Directly across the Tobu/JR train stations as well as popular bus routes. Friendly and English-speaking staff. My husband and I had a wonderful time in Nikko. Thank you.

Nice place to stay, has a restaurant with buffet, onsen, and a bar on the second floor. The room I got was for 2 adults, pretty cool spacious room. Big enough bathroom. I'm a big guy, so space is important.
