Hotel Seikoen

Very relaxing place to stay. Comfy futons and nice rooms. Wonderful hot spring bath. Food was incredible. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to Toshogu shrine, which is breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here.

Good value of money. Dinner was served in the traditional room. All staff always try their best to explain everything in English to foreigners. Outdoor Onsen for female is relatively small, which could only occupies four people comfortably at the same time. You could park your car at its place until 12pm on the check-out date. Recommended to start your visitng nearby right after your breakfast. Otherwise, everywhere would be very crowded.

The hot spring in Tokyo was better

The hotel location is perfect for visiting Nikko shrines . The dinner was served in the traditional room . The man who served it explained all the details of the courses and everything was delicious.

All staffs were very helpful and nice, the ambience of open-air bath area was pleasant. Moreover the room and other facilities like sauna and bathing area were clean and tidy. Loved it. The most important part is about food. Really value for money to enjoy simple order of Kaiseki but still to taste Nikko's local favorites. Nice food! Location is also super convenient if you did not rent a car, you can take a direct bus from Tobu Nikko station for free if you have Nikko Pass.
