It is rare to see deferred maintenance in Japan, but the Tobu Tojo line is a prime example. This line is hugely profitable and sadly neglected by the very same company built the Sky Tree and owns vast expanses of Tokyo and Tochigi-ken. It is not a matter of funds, for they have them but our little nabe is their last priority. Meanwhile, people die in accidents at least once every few months. Criminal. We tire of their fake reasons for only opening the Fudo Dori 改札口 for more than one hour a day. Tojo line staff tell me to talk to the Itabashi-ku people, and the Kuyakusho staff instruct me to call Tobu Corp. The old run around. I suspect the real culprit is the bike parking facility that likes to block the walkway with bikes from 8:30 am. Either way, they need to ease pedestrian foot traffic before more accidents occur. Such irresponsible behavior is inexcusable. We have been signing petitions for decades. When will they listen? Sadly, our little neighborhood is only served by one train line, so they don’t feel the need to listen to us. Every weekend, 20,000+ people visit our station to access the largest Aeon in Tokyo’s 23 wards. The area around the station is merely not equipped to handle this amount of foot traffic, and the lame excuses of the station staff only make matters worse. A staff agent is posted at the Fudo Dori 改札口 all hours of the day. If they listened to the locals and met with Itabashi Kuyakusho, I have no doubt they could open Fudo Dori 改札口 for most of the day, which would relieve the pressure of the foot traffic fighting with all of the cars and bikes trying to cross the busy and dangerous Tojo Sen tracks. The over-impacted pedestrian traffic mingled with fast-moving cars, trucks, and trains is especially acute when Daito Bunka (a large, local university and nearby private high school) are in session. We have been expressing these concerns for years. No one seems to care. And people keep dying. What will it take, Tojo Sen? Today, the station agent starting shouting and running toward me as I walked along the side of tracks, just like everyone else. I don’t know if they are treated well by management, but that is no excuse to act up. I was walking near the yellow blocks, which I see Japanese people do all the time. His dangerous and irresponsible reaction is inexcusable. I was not creating a disturbance. He was clearly disturbed. If I had not remained calm, I might have fallen onto the tracks. Perhaps the poor staff is under strain because many people jump onto the tracks. Just last week there was a suicide at our station. That just means they need to invest some of the significant profits they make on this line into building barriers like most modern above-ground train lines have done. I’m tired of being taken advantage of, and I know I am not alone.

There is no place to comment on the whole area, so here. In addition to the nostalgic arcades in the historic sites and Fujizuka as a lodging place, we are now concentrating on drug stores, so for those who want to go on a trip but it is troublesome to go out, "go out and look around and eat at a local restaurant. I think it's an interesting spot to enjoy a holiday like a day trip with one wallet and clothes such as "shopping for daily necessities". There are two bakeries, and both of them are chewy and delicious, so please come.

Along the old Kawagoe Kaido near the station is Kitamachi, Nerima-ku, but the location of the station itself is Tokumaru, Itabashi-ku. The Family Mart right in front of the south exit ticket gate is Kitamachi, Nerima-ku. Except for some time zones, the last vehicle for Ikebukuro and the first vehicle for Kawagoe will be the closest vehicle to the ticket gate. Aeon Itabashi Shopping Center (former Itabashi Sati) and Tokumaru Regional Center Kitano Hall are at the north exit. Nerima Automobile Inspection Registry, SDF Nerima Garrison, Sansako Boxing Gym, Don Quixote and Toho Ball are at the south exit.
