Good place to stay if you're not fussy. You get more than what you pay for with a nice lounge area, full kitchen facilities and clean and well-maintained bathrooms. Staff are friendly and cheerful and happy to help you out. Free bikes available which are very useful for getting to nearby supermarkets etc. The building is a little noisy so I didn't sleep very well some nights. I was in a top bunk and I could hear people very clearly walking around on the floor above me. Its also a little hot in the rooms. But mostly it's fine and for such a cheap price I won't complain.

New and clean. Right next to the station, so you will sometimes hear the train. Large beds, very clean and spacious bathroom, and nice lounge. Good base for going to Gifu/Nagoya!

This is THE Guesthouse!! Situated between Nagoya and Kyoto, Gifu-Hashima is the perfect place to have nature and big cities to explore and enjoy! The concept and the love that the owner and the staff put into everyday detail is just wonderful. You will find the real omotenashi (おもてなし) here and never forget it. Will definitely go back with friends, family and however wants to have a fantastic experience. Beside we were talking a lot about renewal energies in Japan, I speak Japanese so we could get into details about it. He showed me the Tesla super charger near by, the ark solar building and drive me around to my delight. Won’t forget it! Thank you very much for everything!!
