It is understandable that this station became the terminal station due to the development of the Osaka Municipal Subway era, but since it became the Osaka Metro, it will be extended further north and the flow of people will be able to connect with Hankyu Masajaku and JR Kishibe. In addition to contributing to fare revenue and improving convenience, I think we can expect improvements in urban functions as well.
Even now, the Imazato Line is a line that can be transferred to and connected to 7 lines, but by adding the Hankyu Kyoto Line and JR Kyoto Line, it can also serve as a circular line that covers the outer area of Osaka City. I think we should shift the shift from the southward plan from Imazato station to the northward plan from Itakano station.
When I got off at night once, it looked like a bad hangout
I felt the insecurity peculiar to the housing complex
The only route that the Osaka Municipal Subway crosses the Yodogawa Floodway from underground. This is a rare case because the Yodogawa floodway is crossed by an iron bridge including the JR. The Osaka Municipal Subway only has routes that have been developed along with the construction of major roads, so I think that it is an unusual route from that perspective.
It is unfortunate that this station does not stop because there is no connecting station with Kishibe Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line or Shojaku Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line.
I don't know what will happen to the extension from Imazato Station to the south, but I feel that there is an urgent need to improve connectivity.
I think that the surrounding area is influenced by the lot of housing complex, and I think that I was conscious of visiting the station by bicycle. When a pedestrian walks from the ground to the ticket gate in the same passage as a bicycle, it becomes a detour. The station is very beautiful. Since this is the last station on the Imazatosuji line, there are full-time employees who clean the inside of the trains that arrive at the station.
Because there is nothing around
