Kashobou Fukumatsu

Great service and price. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here for 5 nights. Things I didn't like were unstable wifi connection, the noise from the compact room fridge (I turned it off). The shared bath was closed in mornings due to covid-19. The guide in the room was not updated so I went to take a bath in a morning, and I found out it was closed. I love the views from the hotel — river and mountains and the excellent services.

We had a great time! Not the most updated but a wonderful respite. The room was spacious and had a lovely river view. The bathhouse was empty, just us, and the open air bath was about 41⁰ with a river rock bottom

A little outdated but the staff is friendly and the price cant be beat.

Amazing experience. So far my favorite hotel in Japan. First of all, the receptionists are very kind,helpful and caring. The place gives a very strong retro/nostalgic Japanese feel with many sources of entertainment in disposition (ping pong room, instruments, mangas, and a huge bear plush!) The onsen is very sanitary and has a perfect tranquil ambience. It’s a bit far from restaurants but there are bicycles free to use outside of the hotel so we had no problem!

Incredible urgent needing a renovation, if even possible. In the corridor water is rinsing out of the walls. Everything is very old, rotten and not clean. The best years are over.
