The onsen waters are sourced directly from the spring - a rarity in japan. The springs have been around for 650 years. No additional spring water added, or additional heating either. The rooms are brand new, and seem to be a mix of Japanese and rustic Scandinavian design. Maybe bc we were the only guests and got deluxe treatment as a result, but the dinner was delicious too. One of the better ryokans I stayed at (vs Wa No Sato near Takayama, Yatsusunkan in Hida Furukawa, Shirahone Yamato Saito, Tsuki hi tei in Nara)

Very good smell of wood. Really feel so comfortable with high celieng. Private hot spring is fantastic.

Good room, bath and staff I thought I would come back again. I think it will be difficult due to the influence of corona, I want you to do your best.

A room with an open-air bath, all with a sink It was very relaxing We visited in June, but it was good to see fireflies from the riverbed of the small waterfall in the facility as chillahora! The dinner was a Japanese meal at the restaurant, but you can eat it in any order and enjoy it without being overwhelmed I'm full It seems that there are no convenience stores or places to eat out near you, and you have to be full ... (laughs) It's OK to bring back the refrigerator, so put it in a cool bag and go!

A ryokan where you want to give 10 stars. It was just built, so everything is new! Clean and friendly staff, dinner was really the highlight. Each and every ingredient was carefully selected, so I felt that I cooked it with great care. The open-air bath in the room was good, and the public bath was small but neat. The smell of hot springs is healed and I really want to go again. It's a rough road and a serious curve, so if you're a beginner, you'll have a hard time driving haha; However, as if in return, the ryokan experience was outstanding. I want to go again!!! Such a beautiful ryokan that is newly built. The staff were so nice and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were heavenly! They use fresh ingredients to cook the best meal for you. Although the drive to the ryokan was pretty difficult, it was totally worth it.
