This inn is from 1902 and has a lot of atmosphere. It's in a forested setting along a quiet stream, and they offer lunch/bathing combos as well as just using the bath until 3 or 5 depending on the day for 1000 yen. The cypress bath itself is inside and relatively small, so best to go at a non-busy time to really enjoy the view of the mossy forest. Also be careful of the really slippery wooden floor!

Although it is an old building, it is very tasteful and carefully decorated. The rooms also make you feel good old Japan. It is a historical Japanese style that is different from the trendy Japanese modern style. However, if possible, the view from the window may be better if the building that is no longer in use is removed. The food was well presented and delicious. Botan nabe has a gentler taste than I expected, and even if I'm full, I've flattened the porridge. The hot springs were also soft to the touch, and the skin was moist and smooth after the bath. In addition, there is no vending machine in the building, only paid drinks in the refrigerator in the room, but since water and tea set are provided free of charge, I did not feel inconvenienced in the cold season. I liked the atmosphere of the cafe so much that I used to drink and coffee at the cafe after dinner. It is an inn that I would like to visit if I have the opportunity.

All the employees were very comfortable with their polite customer service. The food was carefully prepared and was delicious with a gentle flavor. The homemade cheesecake and sausages at the cafe and bar are also delicious, so I recommend them. The lobby is a retro, stylish and relaxing space. Although it is written on the homepage, the radio wave of the mobile phone is bad. Wi-Fi seems to be available only in the lobby or cafe & bar. It is a perfect inn for resting. There are picture books and children's menus, so it is an inn that can be used with children.

I used it for my stay. The staff were very kind. The food was also delicious. The bath is small, but the floor is made of cypress. It was a quiet place with no sound at night, so I had a good time slowly.

Impressions of using a 6-hour day trip for 8,000 yen Pros: Alkaline spring quality Bad point: There is no open-air bath. I can't enjoy the meal at all because I bring it all out in about 10 minutes. The room faces the road and can be seen from pedestrians and cars. In the first place, the room has a musty odor, and it cannot be said that the room is well maintained. The course is 8,000 yen, and even if you use 4 people, you can only accept cash unless you stay overnight. Today, it is rare to pay over 30,000 cash only.
