The place is ok, but there's no elevator and washing machine

This host clearly knows how to photoshop. It seems much bigger in the pictures. Also the host never answered to our message on Airbnb. The supposed wall with concrete optics was just a half torn wallpaper and some of the furnishings were broken. Uncomfortable spring mattress. The bathroom is a moldy mess with other people‘s dark pubic/hair (we‘re both blondes), and for some strange reason even in the kitchen? Both of us woke up with sore throats and sneezing in the morning - probably because of our allergies to moldy textiles. Really thin walls, you can listen to every word spoken by the neighbors or them using the bathroom. It smells like cigarette smoke in the evening and there is also buds laying around. The atmosphere is not welcoming, we were greating other people, wishing them a good evening, and were simply ignored. Bad Wifi, glad we brought our own. When we wanted to rent the bikes in the evening for 2-3 hours, we had to explain it into an impersonal intercom device, even though the guy was sitting right behind the door. He barely spoke any English, but wanted to charge me 7000 Yen (!) for a rusty bike just that evening. The place was right next to a demolition site/junk yard, starting to smash things at 8 o‘clock in the morning, we were not informed about that. When we washed our clothings and hung them to dry on the balcony, they were covered in dust, like the rest of the balcony. You couldn’t even read the instructions on the fire escape, they were exfoliated. Also the train tracks are really close by and they are by far the most pleasent noise you can hear in this building. So if you‘re okay with all of these things and want to live like Rocky Balboa in 1977, this place is perfect for you! Also big plus is some free dripping coffee and tea.

Bad location. Tiny rooms. Way too expensive for what it offers. Also, not really a hostel... Stayed here because JR trains were suspended during typhoon.
