When is a hotel not a hotel? No reception and couldn't make remote access system work so had to travel across town to pay and pick up keys. Arrive to find the hotel room is one of several studio flats in a flat block. Very basic with bed on floor with thin mattress and no chairs. Couldn't even watch the rugby on the tv.

Nice staff also speaks english. Responded instantly to WiFi problem.

We arrived a bit earlier than the check-in time and they didn’t have a luggage room. We just put the luggage opposite the reception, not very safe, but I guess in Japan it’s okay. The apartment is spacious. The is bathroom relatively up to date with a separate toilet. The kitchen is quite old and could have more dishes and cutlery. The bedroom was very large with to two big beds. The hotel is close to the Peace Memorial Park but a bit farther to the train station.

Room was clean, modern, attractively furnished, and more spacious than expected. Helpful, friendly staff, good amenities, definitely a great value for the affordable price. We were only there for one night, but would have worked well as an extended stay.
