I am in love with the Base Hotel. First of all the building has a baseball cap on it, which was just fun! The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious! We loved everything about the check-in experience, location, and all the modern touches throughout. We will definitely be back for a Carps game!

We stayed at Hiroshima Base Hotel back in November of 2019. On arrival there was a squashed herring fish on sitting mat. - This is a baseball themed, no frills hotel. - The Bathroom was the smallest we had in Japan. Almost no room to move between shower & toilet. (But that's somewhat expected). - Breakfast was good, tea/coffee/juice with white bread toast, a yummy omelette, salad and a delicious corn soup.

Simple but comfortable apartment hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped. Very convenient for the station and Mazda station. Walking distance (20-ish minutes) to Castle and slightly longer (about 40) from far end of Peace Park. Bar in building is a Hiroshima Carp supporters bar (not used), where breakfast is also served in the morning. Breakfast was a fixed tray with soup, salad, toast and an omelette with ham. It was included in my deal and tasty, but not sure if I'd have paid extra for it. Overall, excellent value and comfortable. I would recommend as a more budget but still quality option.

Surprising. Great tatami sleep area. Big enough hall with a kitchen and all you need to cook yourself. Fridge with a freezer. Staff very nice and helpful. Really good choice close 59 train station with a connections to shinkansen and local trains to Itsukushima

Surprisingly roomy by Japanese standards and a good find. All the amenities are provided, even a kotatsu!
