A little dated, but well maintained overall. Simple rooms that are clean and tidy.on-site onsen and ski rental facilities. Very close to main mammoth piste, a good place for ski beginners. Restaurant only serves dinner IF reserved, and then only between 18:00-19:00. Usually a wholesome and tasty traditional Japanese spread, but nothing too intimidating for western tastes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Head a great stay.
Very convenient from Hotel to Takamagahara ski park, takes only one minute. All staff are very friendly and front desk English is available. Only one thing troubled us was Wifi did not work in the room at all on 5th floor, meal were ok, breakfast provides buffet and dinner provides hot pot and mini buffet , dessert were delicious. Room some part is dirty, no daily cleaning, no provides towel and toothbrush. The rental towel fee costs 200 yen per time and toothbrush fee costs 100 yen. Anyhow, this is a good location for Ski beginner and family having a fun.

Very friendly staff, can speak english quite well (also Thai). Ski rental service was available at 1000yen/d. Slope was right infront of the hotel. Spring ski is possible. No ski school but they can arrange teacher for you. Room was comfort, clean, spacious. Private bath plus large public onsen. Interior design was westernized because they host 1998 winter olympic but quite old fashion and make you miss the good old days. No shop/bar nearby (because it is inside a national park) but you can buy drink/snack/ski utility/etc at the hotel.
