My friends and I used Holiday Plazas rental skis and Snowboards. I have pretty big feet so finding shoes that fit me in Japan is difficult. They not only had my size but they're prices are very reasonable. Only 3000 yen to rent for the entire day.

1.Location is the best. In front of the slopes. The quad, which is the main part of the Takamagahara slope, and the ticket office are immediately nearby. From there, you can easily access Terakoya, Ichinose, and Beechada. 2. Price: cospa good. If you don't expect hotel-like hospitality. Check-out at night can be done by yourself and take a bath. The futon was laid and it was helpful. Facilities are enough except there is no refrigerator. Tea set, washroom, toilet, TV available. Towels, yukata, toothbrush available. Old but clean. There is a drying room in the basement. However, ski boots must be brought to the room (place them in the drying room as they do not dry well). 3, air conditioning: corridors can be heated to a low degree. The room has a switching stove of weak, medium and strong. Weak and warm enough. Four. Meal: morning and evening buffet. Breakfast is simple, but it is prepared in both Japanese and Western styles and it changes little by little every day. Five. Others: No cleaning or changing sheets during consecutive nights. Hot water from the pot is drawn in the dining room after meals. It was often a self-service, but personally comfortable and satisfying inn. If you come to the next Shiga Kogen, you will stay here.
