The subway 🚇 platform is deep underground so you have to climb down a long flight of stairs to ride it. What’s worse, the restroom is insanely dirty, particularly for a Japanese Station. Absolutely one ⭐️.

The structure of this station is weird indeed, so in order to actually get on the subway you have to walk around the escalator for about 50 meters or so. Worse luck if you're going to Yamashina or Kyoto Station area; you have to climb down two flights of stairs just to get on the subway. I'm sure there was a reason for this, but this is by no means one of the better planned stations in Japan.

今日、行ってきました。今週、急に寒くなりそうなので、カイロを購入しようと、したが、お薬・介護用品・ビタミン剤・栄養ドリンクに含まれてないらしくて、割引されず、嫌な感じがした。値引きの線引きが、素人目では、分かりにくい。

This is a transfer station for the Rokujizo Station on the Keihan Keitsu Line and Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line. With the opening of the Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line, the area between Keitsu Sanjo Station and Goryo Station on the Keihan Keitsu Line was abolished. Currently, the Keihan Keitsu line runs directly between Uzumasa Tenjingawa Station, Kyoto City Hall Station-Shinnomiya Station, and Biwakohama Otsu Station.
