Sumiya Spa & Hotel

Good location. Close to the JR station. Receptionist spoke good English and also provide tourist information for anyone. Showers are communal showers which take a few minutes until hot water arrives on the first floor along with coin laundry (which doesnt dry properly). Toilets are also shared on the floor that you are staying on. Walls are thin are you can hear other guests opening and closing doors very clearly. Cleaning of the rooms cost another ¥1000 and must tell the receptionist 1 day in advance

Bad customer service, incompetent receptionist & they don't take seriously safety measures to lower the risk of spreading the covid 19. I will never come back or recommend it to anybody.

Booked a private room with shared bathroom via Booking and it was really good for the price. Toilets and sink were available on each floor and were clean. Showers are on the ground floor, clean and with all necessary amenities. Coffee, tea and a microwave are available in the common space.

Close to the station. Clean room. The common areas were surprisingly well equipped. Working reception hours are 10-18h so staff is scarce. However, the one person we exchanged with upon check-out was nice.

The vibe of the hotel was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the prayer space available was incredible!
