The end of the Kyoto subway line. There is nothing here. Proximal to the Kokusaikaikan conference center which is a weird space all to itself. One convenience store and nothing else. The end of the line, as advertised. They did sign the Kyoto protocol up here btw. That was a while ago.

As the station name suggests, it is the closest station to Kokusaikaikan and is the terminal station of the Karasuma Subway Line. Although it is the terminal station, the scale is not so large, and there are shops and convenience stores inside the station. I get the impression that many users commute to work or school, or go to a nearby school or university. There is a residential area and Takaragaike Park around the station, and it has a quiet atmosphere.
