The best Minshuku on the Kumano Kodo in regard of friendlyness, service, quality, taste and cleanliness. The owners couple are a blessing for all their guests. We will never forget the hours we could spend in this Mindhuku like in our own family.

LOVED THIS PLACE! This was the best place we stayed during our entire 6 day trek through the Kumano Kodo. Definitely much more of a honey feel, but after completing the toughest day of hiking, this is just what I needed. The food was great, the innkeepers were fantastic, and the beds were so soft compared to other ryokan. It's hard to get to, so call them for a ride to pick you up. I hope I have the chance to stay once more in the future.
Great accommodation on the Kumano Kodo Kohechi trail.
Pick up service at bus stop Mitadani worked very well, the host arrived soon after calling. Warm welcome with hot tea in the japanese style room. Spacious rooms, very clean. Freshly home made cooked dinner, best on this trail!
This is one of the few inns at Miuraguchi, Kohechi, Kumano Kodo. The rooms are kept clean and comfortable, and the elaborate dishes made with homegrown ingredients are impressive. If necessary, you can use the washing machine for free. The calm atmosphere of the owner and his wife is also comfortable, and there is no doubt that you will want to come and stay again.
As of 2020-10-06, the Kawazu Takano Line for going from Miuraguchi to Minshuku has collapsed and some sections cannot pass. You need to take the detour Kawanaka Road.
