Hotel route in central Nakno this was an awesome place to stay we used this hotel as our base for the week, with several ski resorts to choose from, within 30 minutes or less drive away, the staff were friendly and helpful, willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is a memorable one, rooms are standard size, with mod-cons split system air/heating USB ports for charging up electronics etc, beds firm and comfortable, medium size onsen but supper clean no grime anywhere, buffet breakfast included, laundry on site, there's also meals are on offer at a decent price, I would recommend this place . Two 👍👍 Up

Extremely out of the way with very few food options around it. Staff was very rude during check in, after making it seem like he was giving us water told us it would be 600 yen (almost $6) when we said nevermind he asked sarcastically "well why not". Rooms were pretty small and outdated. Stains on the floor as well as on the "clean" linens. We were going to stay for 3 nights and left after one.

The correspondence at the front desk is reasonably good, polite, easy to hear, and easy to understand. It's not an electronic lock, it's a key, and it's turned on by inserting the key to turn on the lights in the room, so I was a little lost in finding where the keyhole was without the lights in the hallway. There seems to be no restaurant nearby, so I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It's a common izakaya menu, and I think the price is reasonable. Draft beer, highball, atka mackerel, salad, and 4 skewers cost 3000 yen. The rooms and care are in good condition. Although it was one person, there were all the clothes, amenities, towels, and cups for two people. The water heater is an old model that can keep warm, and it was a little difficult to use because the pouring button was hard, probably because it was used.

No problem at all. There are two buildings, an old building and a new one, but if you quit smoking, you will probably be the new one.

The parking lot is large. There is a convenience store and a Japanese family restaurant within walking distance.
