This station is for those who go to Kyoto Concert Hall, Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Gardens, and Kyoto Prefectural University at the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line station. It's a town that I personally feel like living most in Kyoto. To be honest, I'm a person who doesn't really like the city of Kyoto, and I thought that the area along the Kamo River was really good, but this Kitayama area is strangely attractive even in Kyoto. It is a calm residential / student district and has a good environment. In addition, there are many fashionable shops on Kitayama-dori, and there are many bakeries and restaurants.
