Ikkyuu Inn

Very sweet couple. They don't speak much English, but you can get the idea if you don't speak japanese. Imagine an elderly couple that run a hotel out of their large house. They were so kind and gave me oranges and a rice balls in the morning. The rooms are acceptable, mine smelled a bit like smoke. Read their website to get a better idea. Mostly locals that say there so it is super quiet. I didn't eat, but the husband cooked some awesome dishes you might pay 1500 at a restaurant. Overall, I was glad I stayed, it was a unique experience. Thank you very much

The service here is really lovely, the couple that run the place are very accommodating and love meeting new people. I would highly recommend the food here, everything is fresh and thoughtfully prepared and the quality is high for the price you pay. This is not high end accommodation, but rather like visiting a family friend. The atmosphere is homely and friendly, great for small travelling groups and families.

VEGAN UNFRIENDLY. We were told we cannot stay here because vegan is DANGEROUS, even though there was a room available and an option to stay without meals.

Amazing food and hospitality.

Clearly, there are cockroaches in the room. There are mosquitoes in the cafeteria. But the old couple welcomes me warmly and I will have a dinner full of fish.
