The hotel is more like a hostel. I did end up getting the private room with its own shower and toilet as opposed to other rooms. Pros: Nice and Clean. I quite like it. Affordable. Cons: 20-25 minute walk from the station. The owner may not be there so you're told to walk to a nearby izakaya. Only to be told that payment is cash only and you're escorted to an ATM. Except that ATM is Japan specific ATM and you're escorted to a 7-11. Only for that 7-11 is back closer to town. The whole turn of events took almost an hour from getting to the hotel and finally entering the room. WTF. Next time, specify that it's cash only.

A fluffy towel on a fluffy bed. A shower that looks expensive and a decent dryer. We stayed in the dormitory for one night, but it was a comfortable hotel like a luxury hotel. Even though it is a dormitory, it feels like a large room is shared, and there are a toilet, a shower room, and a sink in the locked room. Inside the room is a fluffy sofa and refrigerator. It seems comfortable even for consecutive nights. There are amenities, towels, toothbrushes and combs, and there are plenty of towels on the sink! The bed structure is designed to allow space for luggage. Nice If there is a difficulty, the female dormitory is on the 3rd floor, so it may be difficult to carry it with a large but large suitcase (since there is no resident staff). Maybe you can leave it in. Later, if you take a bus from Onomichi Station, you will arrive in 2 minutes on foot. However, don't make a mistake because the key is handed to the restaurant which is a 2-minute walk from the inn. Also a 6-minute walk to the bus stop to Shin-Onomichi (the location of the bus stop is difficult to understand if it ’s a Google map, and it ’s in the direction of the ropeway stop) I have stayed at Onomichi guesthouses for a while, but it is worth staying here. I want to stay here again.

There was a social gathering in Onomichi, and I always stayed at cheap “Anago no XX” to attend from Yonago, but it was full, so I booked here for the first time. Although it is a bit far from the store, this is also a cheap guesthouse. +600 yen. When I went there, I was still working on the entrance to the beautiful entrance. The room I stayed in had 3 sofas and 3 bunk beds. There were four people staying on this day, and there was a couple of foreigners. Nearby there are 2 washlet toilets, 2 beautiful shower rooms with locks and 2 washrooms. Clean. A hairdryer and towels are also available. There are also disposable slippers, earplugs and toothpaste sets. The bed was a hotel specification and the comforter was a duvet. There is a valuables storage nearby. Since it is new, I went to bed in the scent of cedar. Get the PIN code for the entrance and room at a nearby tavern and pay for it. This is an interesting system. You can check in until 1 o'clock and check out slowly until 11 o'clock. There seems to be a room where you can rent one room for about 4 people? I like it very much.

Although it is a bit far from Onomichi Station, there is a convenience store and an arcade town nearby, so there is no inconvenience. The facility is clean and comes with towels. I also want to use it when I come to Onomichi.
