When we arrived in Onomichi it was like landing on a different planet! It's so soft and quiet, everyone is kind and gentle and the food is delicious! But all of this is possible to learn from inside the place, what about the outside ? The answer is "Hotel view Seizan"! It's a bit challenging to arrive up there, on the top of the highest mountain around: it's possibile by foot if you're light enough, or by taxi like we did! It's only 1000 yen if you take it from the Station and mean time you can watch the beautiful colours of the city pass by. The first thing that we felt is warmth! The kind staff came out to reach us and give the welcome! It was around 15.00, very hot, and without telling anything they brought us 2 cups of water with ice!! It was all that we needed at the time because of the hot air outside! The breakfast was delicious, and they prepared it for us in the morning, in perfect sync with our wake up! Everything was perfect, from there we had the nicest views that until now we saw in Japan from an hotel!! It was the best!! Thanks from bottom of the heart to all the staff for your understanding, kindness and caring !! Next time we'll come to Japan certainly will come back to your place !!

A very warm welcome upon arrival made a great first impression. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There were great views of Onomichi and the Thai food was fantastic. Not a modern hotel but a great effort by the staff to keep it clean and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Japan (and I’ve stayed in a lot). The hotel staff is extremely friendly and outgoing. They can even speak a bit of English. The view of Onomichi city is amazing and the food in the restaurant is delicious! We were here for business but my wife and I will definitely return for pleasure in the future! The Thai decorations & food make this a completely different experience than a typical Japanese business hotel and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re in Onomichi I highly recommend staying here. Thank you again for everything! We had a wonderful stay! We are looking forward to the next visit!

Lovely staff and amazing view, would come back here for sure. Be prepared to walk some stairs but after staying here for a couple of night I feel like I can take on every stair in the world!
