There are many shukubo in Oyama run by the leader of Yamabushi, who guides the pilgrimage to Oyama until the Edo period, and Tougakubou is one of them. The food here is delicious, and the bath with boiling fresh water from Daisen is exceptional! We recommend boar nabe and tofu dishes. The course includes a bathing fee, so you can enjoy dinner and a bath after climbing Mt. Oyama, or if you are sightseeing in Oyama from outside the prefecture during the autumn leaves illumination season, check in from noon and stay overnight to avoid traffic jams. I think it's okay to climb the mountain after that. Anyway, the food is delicious ♪

2700 yen course. The food is not very tofu tofu, but the tofu has a strong presence. The amount is just right. (Isn't there enough men?) There was a word of mouth that the shop staff did not respond well, but it was not so kind and everyone felt good. Bathing is also a set, and the open-air bath is airy. If you look up, you can see the autumn leaves. There is no special mention of the indoor bath.

The facilities are a little old because it is a long-established inn, but the Oyama tofu course is delicious just to make up for it. There is a dynamic open-air bath, and autumn-winter looks good. On the day I stayed, there was a prayer in the morning. Isn't it a good deal if you eat delicious food and get rid of it?

We stayed overnight and had dinner and breakfast. The tofu kaiseki, which uses plenty of tofu that is purchased from the tofu shop in front of the inn, was excellent from the beginning to the end. It is creamier and richer than any tofu I have ever eaten, and it has a faint fragrance, and it is no exaggeration to say that my view of tofu has changed 180 degrees. All the dishes were very delicious, but the one that impressed me the most as tofu was Hiyayakko (I'm sorry Mr. Itamae ...) I was so impressed that I tried to buy it the next morning, but I heard that it was still in preparation ... It seems that I could buy it if I waited until around noon, but I gave up because it was not convenient. The photo shows a kaiseki sashimi and a hot pot. I forgot to take a picture of the essential tofu dish and ate it. The facility itself is not new, but the visible areas have been cleaned cleanly. If you open a small double door with a little messing around, it's just like dust has accumulated. In the morning, I had a valuable experience of having the host priest priest pray, and I returned safely.

July 19, 2020 I stopped by and only took a bath. Bath charge ¥1000 There is also an open-air bath, but it seems that the men's and women's baths switch every 1h, so unfortunately I visited during the women's bath time, so I couldn't enter the open-air bath. The indoor bath was a space for 2.3 people, but it was enough because it was reserved for 2 people. The atmosphere was good and the service was very polite, so it was very pleasant. It also supported electronic money and paypay payments.
