Somewhat bicycle friendly. This place doesn't have a designated bicycle parking but due to it's Japan - so people don't steal stuff. We have faith for the Japanese so we locked both our bikes outside the Ryokan for two nights and it's still there in the morning. Alternatively, there's a B&B place across the street that has a bike parking you can just lock your bike there. Anyways, this place is great. Mid smack in the middle of town and within walking distance to Sanjo road. Lined with loads of eateries, pubs and food market. Its quiet at night, shared single ground floor toilet, with water heater, wifi and a small kitchenette with microwave and hot water dispenser. Each room is lined with tatami mat and has that Japanese bedding thing + thick blankets. No complaints, will stay over again. The only problem, is that you cant lock the door of your room. So bring everything of valuable with you when you're out.

Simple small hotel We live in the Meifu Pavilion, a few steps from the museum. 7 or 8 minutes from the MRT station, there are shopping streets and supermarkets outside. Two rooms on the first floor and two rooms on the second floor The whole bathroom is shared and the hotel offers bicycle rental. The boss is very good and will try to deal with your problem. The bed is very comfortable Affordable price Housing satisfaction is completely affected by your neighbor's tenants The floor and walls are very thin. When someone walks, you can feel the vibration of the whole building. Stayed for 6 nights, one of them met a very noisy Chinese tourist chatting and drinking in the middle of the night, simply not sleeping On another day, I met a family who was going to catch a flight at 5 or 6 in the morning. It was just that I was unable to sleep when I was walking silently. The door can not be locked, and valuables can be locked in the locker of the museum. Suitable for people who want to save money. The owner is very nice, she would do her best to solve your problem. Cheap Price. You can’t lock the door, if you have important things to save you can lock them at roujiya. The floor is too thin, anyone take a move would make whole building noisy. It’s very hard to sleep well.

Main building? The atmosphere was different from the guest house Roujiya, and it was a calm room made by the townhouse in Kyoto. The garden is wonderful as seen from the room on the edge.

Bifuku is a small guest house with 4 private rooms, which belongs to the adjacent house Roujiya. The rooms are designed in Japanese style with tatami. It is a very nice atmosphere and you can relax in peace. In the immediate vicinity there is a shopping street, which is very convenient. The staff of Roujiya are very helpful and friendly. In addition, you can rent bicycles and motorbikes directly in the guesthouse and it is a lot easier on the way than by public transport, as these are often very crowded. A great experience is also the Japanese cooking classes, which are held by the owner in English. You get to know Japanese cooking and eating culture. One day before you can sign up.
