Simple and old ryokan that allows you to stay in Gujō-Hachiman for a very low price. It could be great if they could renew and clean some of the facilities, but in general, you receive what you’re paying for.

Love our stay at this old Ryokan style hotel. Yes the hotel is a bit run down but this family (?) Operated hotel has a great homely feel and was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We got the family room which was big enough for 3-4 people. The room are quite and comfortablen. We paid the extra for dinner and breakfast and it is well worth it as the food was great and not many restorent are open at night in town. Note the hotel only has shared wash room (baths) so if you want to experience a traditional Japanese hotel this is a place. The hotel is located right next to the bus terminal and central to the town and at the door steps to Gujo castle. We will be using this hotel again when we are back next time

It was an old Showa building. Excuse me, but I didn't expect it. However, the caring of the landlady and the staff were good. At the time of dinner, the road of Hachiman Castle He kindly taught me the highlights of the town and made me feel warmer than a business hotel I always use. Meals are normal according to the official website. I wonder if the young people lack the volume. Location requirements are 💮. Corona correspondence was also fully implemented.

The location is good and the food is very satisfying. You can see the castle from the room.

Ayu sashimi and grilled salt for dinner. Ayu boiled in candy for breakfast. Gujo rice is delicious.
