Yaoji Hakata Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice sized single room for a Japanese hotel, wonderful breakfast buffet, but the real star is free use of the attached onsen. My original flight home was canceled so I had to book one more night at the hotel, and as soon as I used the onsen that extra time my irritation at the situation melted away.

Very nice, comfortable, and clean room. But, I would like to expect the breakfast buffet to be improved in the future; menu is a bit limited now.

Didn't stay in the hotel, but tried their onsen and had a pleasant experience. The staff at the receptions were very patient and instructed me how to purchase an entry ticket by miming. Once inside, there are helpful signs with diagrams to orientate you. The onsen has a sauna attached and was truly relaxing. I recommend that once you're out, you should head to the nearby Yodobashi department store and make use of their free-to-try massage chairs. Altogether, that's about an hour of hot spa and body massage at an affordable price.

I only visited the hot spring. That was very nice water and clean. It is open for public daytime. Good facilities.
