Very nice experience . Food is nice . Service is excellent . Onsen view would be even greater during Sakura season !!
Can go out to have a night walk in the garden , special for the people who stay.
A one-in-a-lifetime ryokan experience. One rarely splurges to this extent, but this is the place to do it. You are daimyo for a day (or two). Exquisite in every way. The rooms and the amenities are luxuries, the views of the nearby mountain, from your private outdoor soaking tub, are breathtaking, the food is wild and the karatsu-yaki it is served on is near museum-quality (urushi too). Cocktails in the Edo period tearoom overlooking the lake -- to die for. In the evening, you have the adjacent as your own private garden (shared with the twenty or so other guests).
Expensive but worthwhile. Service, amenities, and food are superb.
Very good food, environment and service with reasonable price. Highly recommend!
