This Kappo-Ryokan is built alone far away from town. It is a wooden mansion. A rumor says there might appear to be a child ghost named Zashiki-warasi, people say he lives in a certain room and only little child could see him. Superstition says if you can meet him you will get happy life for good. I visited there to want to see him but could not, It is so disappointed to me I had already been too old to see him. The food is not bad. Restaurant in it is open in daytime. The bath is big.

It is a stately black building built on a hill overlooking the Aizu basin. You can enjoy the glossy and transparent soba noodles. It is said that the bath is not a hot spring, but is colorless and transparent, and the natural active stone "quartz porphyry" is passed through to obtain a hot spring effect, making it a smooth hot spring containing mineral components. It has been rumored that Zashiki-warashi will appear for a long time, and it is often featured in the media. You can also take a day trip bath at lunch (500 yen). It looks like a black and old building with a long history, but it took 6 years to complete around 1989. The mirror in the dressing room is a combined mirror, creating a mysterious space. I got to know Matsurinkaku on TV and YouTube and stayed overnight with a couple on October 16th. The room was named Mimatsu. I could see the night view of Aizu for a while. For dinner, there was a meal on the table, and the couple admired the color! I enjoyed the horse sashimi and was surprised at the strength of the new soba that I had never eaten. I took some mysterious photos in the hall. It is an inn that you want to stay as many times as you want.

Looking at the Aizu basin from the hill, I enjoyed many dishes including new buckwheat, and everyone with me said "It's delicious" to the depth of the taste of Kozuyu, and they were all delicious 😄 It was a trip for my mother, sister-in-law and my three girls-only gathering, but the staff at the inn were also kind and enjoyable. I'm sure next time ✌️ Thank you 🎵
