Tsuruhashi Station

This is one of transferring station when you visit Osaka from Nagoya, through the Kintetsu line 🚊mainly for the Visitors to Osaka Castle.

the attitude of station staff is very impolite, especially to foreign tourists of Asian descent, superficial attitude to guests, irritable with guests, a bad experience in Japan

Be aware that kintetsu (近鉄)entrance is different from the JR entrance! If you enter the wrong one, you can ask help desk to nullify your entrance record (otherwise you can’t exit the gate).

The largest Koreatown in Japan with the several high-class authentic Korean BBQ restaurants. Make sure to step out of your comfort zone and explore the little side streets that host so much things to see. I even met an old Korean lady that were making fresh Kimchi in front of her houseyard and got some free samples! Unfortunately the area around the station became quite commercial and seemed to have lost some of the old flair that used to be preserved before. Nevertheless highly recommend this place for every real traveller!!

Not a bad station. Complete with restaurants, vending machines and even tour guide maps. It is also very, very clean but it can also get real crowded during rush hour.
