Amazing exhibitions! Really recommend to visit. There's no photo because it's not allowed 🙂. But maybe it's for the best because the visitors are more "calm" and there's no crowd in front of the main exhibition. You enjoy the visit much more this way. There's a combined ticket Kofuku-ji and the museum for 900 yens (not sure about the price).

Medium sized but impressive museum of old Buddhist statues and such. Costs 700 yen to enter or 900 with eastern hall combo ticket.

This is a great museum to visit. The shrines in the same area are not worth the entrance fees but this one is worth a look. (July 2019)

An absolutely ace facility filled with national treasures, including 1300 year old statues of the 10 Disciples, and Asura. The piece de la resistance is a towering 1000 armed lannon that words simply cannot describe, sadly no photos allowed and very tight security to keep watch.

This is worth the visit only to see the 6-arms statue Ashura one of the protector of Buddha. The place host a fascinating series of national Treasures .
