The Gate Hotel Tokyo by HULIC

Very friendly staff ensuring that we felt welcomed. We happen to be staying in on their one year anniversary and were greeted with a glass of champagne after a stroll in the city, quite refreshing experience with live piano and saxophone music performance. Great location, right at the step of Ginza metro station. Hotel lobby is gorgeous and the room are sizable for Tokyo standards, we could actually open 2 big suitcases at the same time. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nice location, very nice lobby

We have stayed in Japan for 2 weeks and stayed at 5 hotels during this time. This hotel was the best out of all of them. They give you a layout of the room in their pictures which is extremely helpful especially in Japan because two of the rooms at other hotels were so small we couldn't even completely open our luggage in some of them. The location is amazing, it's right in front of at least 3 different lines. They also upgraded our room with a terrific view since it was our honeymoon. I will definitely come back next time i stay in Tokyo.

Perfectly located right in Ginza and with the Imperial Palace on your doorstep this Hotel is a sensational location. Loved that it's raised off the main street so you need to get the lift to level 4 which is the main lobby, check-in and a beautiful open space, high window bar and restaurant that draws in a lot of natural light. Very attentive staff, eager to help, accommodating and can arrange anything for you at moments notice.

Really friendly and welcoming staff and the receptionists spoke perfect English. The hotel is in the centre of Tokyo which is ironically not as touristy as other parts of Tokyo, definitely a good thing. The rooms were large and highly specced and we had great views over the centre. The food is also top notch. One of the receptionists, Ayako, was a massive help to us. We had ordered rail passes which were to be delivered at the hotel. Unfortunately they were late and hadn't arrived by the time we were due to leave. She helped with tracking for us and offered to contact the courier on our behalf. She also offered to forward onto our next hotel and even kept us updated on progress after we had left. Great customer service, going above and beyond! I cannot recommend the hotel enough!
