Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nishi Shinjuku

It was a pleasure staying here at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel, the hotel was clean, rooms were smartly and ergonomically designed with comfort. Staff were super friendly and always willing to help, they made the trip to Tokyo one worth remembering. The breakfast buffets in the morning are highly recommended, the they have a large variety of foods to choose from that are freshly prepared. The atmosphere itself was relaxing and clean, a true representation of Japan. Again, staff were super friendly. What I liked about this hotel is that everything is made convenient for you, the basement of the hotel features a 7/11, open 24 hours a day. Floors have vending machines open 24 hours a day, as well as laundry facilities. If you opt out of room cleans for a specific day, you will be allocated a voucher for a free bottle of water which I found to be a win win. The location of the hotel itself is situated roughly 10 -12 minutes walk from Nishi Shinjuku station with a variety of stores and restaurants in the area.

Hotel staff was helpful and friendly and offered us an upgrade upon our arrival. The front desk staff speak English well, if you're worried about traveling without knowing the language. Our deluxe double room was clean, well equipped and not as small as I had been led to believe. I've had smaller rooms in Western Europe, for example. There's a 7-11 in the basement which is very convenient for the atm, late night snacking or to replace anything you forgot on the trip, and all in all we enjoyed this hotel. It's 6 minutes walking distance from the nearest metro station and there's plenty of good food in the neighborhood. I would give this hotel 4.5 stars if I could, but not 5, because the attached restaurant is terrible overpriced. Get breakfast somewhere else! The breakfast buffet was 2200 yen/person and we had better breakfast for a lower price in local restaurants.

Wonderfully modern. Rooms weren't small like I thought it they would be, which is awesome. The bathroom was fantastic, I wish we could have a bathroom in our house like this lol. The front desk was professional and polite. Staff was also very nice. We accidentally locked ourselves out of our room and the housekeeper helped us get back in. It is a bit further away from the madness that is Shinjuku, but I appreciated that. I would definitely stay here again if I were to go back.

Super spacious hotel with large western style washrooms. Enjoyed my stay although the staff aren’t too flexible with price matching. Also, rain shower type of showers.. my fave!

Brand new Hotel! What a fabulous place to stay at! Love the shower and the heated toilet! One of the cleanest and best places to stay in Tokyo! We got the Jr suite and it was a perfect fit for our family. BTW, there is a 7/11 in the basement of the hotel. What a darn convenient. You gotta love Tokyo!
