Been there in Sep after a week journey in Chūbu region. This hotel is an excellent choice in terms of location, comfy and spacious room and good food. This should also be a rare choice inside the city centre if you want to stay in a traditional ryokan. Our room includes breakfast and we choose to explore around for dinner. Food is great and well decorated. Staff can speak good English and delivers quality service. It’s situated near the bus and metro station, as well as the malls and souvenir shops where you can get all popular gifts of Kanazawa. A must-visit-again hotel.

We're arriving at this ryokan via the city loop bus in a rainy cold day. We're greated warmly by the busy front desk lady. She promptly let us to the bath level. The men and women are at the opposite side of each other. The women's side has a mid size indoor pool and smaller wooden outdoors bath tub. Garden even more charming than it should. Luckily we were the only guests at the time, no bothering at all none whatsoever. Love the authenticity of this onsen and the local scene makes it even better.
