A very modern boutique hotel, each corner inside the hotel feels artsy. I couldn’t stop taking photos of my room & hotel lobby/cafe. Love the technology provided in the room. Free mobile phone for me to use during the stay, which is a great service for foreigners like me. It also has a rooftop onsen, that I was visiting every night while I was there. Location wise, it’s right next to the market & a short taxi ride from the JR station. Of course I was also happy with the service. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a great hotel but sorry I was only there for 1 night. Room was really well equipped and a great spa on the rooftop with a view over Kanazawa. The breakfast was really good - lots of choice and you also get to chose a main dish which is a great option. Check in and Check out was very easy. Great location

Staying for two nights in Kanazawa. Loved the breakfast/cafe next to the entrance. This hotel has minimalistic theme and makes you feel relaxed. A big plus is the room is quite spacious which is rare in Japan! Hotel rooms is provided with superb amenities . Would like to stay at this hotel next time if I come again.

The wonderful hotel in Kanazawa The room is very convenient and so clean and staffs all nice and friendly and speak in good english. Easy to understand. Comfortable bed and bathroom. And good breakfast.

The Good points: Position, shower, lighting and room size. The Bad points: A bed like cast iron. Absolutely ridiculous system for breakfast and totally the hotel's fault. You turn up for breakfast only to find (once you have worked it out due to very poor signage) that you have to put your name on a list and wait until a table becomes available. Why is this? Two obvious reasons, the hotel has grossly undersized the breakfast area size in relation to hotel guest numbers. Two, the staff don't clear empty tables promptly enough. There were plenty of confused guests who hadn't put their name on the list (unaware due to poor signage) and were waiting even longer until they had understood what was happening. I waited 20 minutes in the queue and I knew the system. To add insult to injury the staff allowed late comers from a group to jump the queue to the frustration of those who waiting patiently. In 40+ years of visiting hotels I've never seen such a shambles. If you need to get to breakfast and are catching a train etc allow plenty of extra time. I visited in Nov, God knows what it must be like in high season.
